Pushing boundaries with

innovative technology

By combining a suite of pioneering capabilities never before operational in a commercial satellite network, Meridian delivers unprecedented efficiency.

ON THE GROUND

Innovative Ground Segment

By leveraging a fixed-track orbital architecture, we utilize affordable, high-gain user and gateway antennas that enable lower transmit power requirements on our satellites.

Compact
Satellites

Global coverage with
only 250 satellites.

02

Reflectarray
Antennas

High bandwidth, low power, analog beamforming.

Innovative Ground Segment

Affordable, efficient user terminals & gateways.

01

Compact Satellites

Global Coverage in a Single Launch

In just a single launch, we can establish terabits of continuous global capacity by deploying 250 communications satellites, significantly reducing the cost and carbon emissions of launch.

Optimizing Satellite Design

Using transparent payload technology (i.e. bent-pipe), which leverages ground-based infrastructure for signal  processing, further enhances the power efficiency and size reduction of our satellites.

02

Reflectarray Antennas

Beam-Steering Capabilites

We have developed a first-of-its-kind, high-performance, electronically scanned reflectarray antenna. This hybrid approach integrates the key benefits of reflector antennas and phased arrays into a low-profile, highly cost-effective design.

Meridian has advanced the state of the art by incorporating electronic steering, enabling rapid and precise control of beam direction to significantly enhance system performance and efficiency.

A Traditional Drifting LEO Orbit

Unlike other satellite constellations, Meridian’s innovative constellation design features fixed-track orbits, which massively simplify user terminals, gateways, and network management. This architecture enables affordable, high-gain user terminals and gateways, minimizing transmit power on our satellites.

Through our unique, fixed-track orbital architecture we're committed to sustainable use of spectrum and space, improving spectrum coordination and decrease in-space collision risks.

Our Teleport Advantage

Our teleports are uniquely compact, low-power and highly reliable, enabling ease of installation and operations. By using lightweight antennas compatible with non-penetrating roof mounts, our teleports are well suited for colocation on industrial rooftops, data centers, points of presence (PoPs), and existing ground stations.

Flexible Terminal Support

Our constellation supports a multitude of user terminals, from steerable parabolic dishes to electronically scanned flat panels. Customers seeking plug and play solutions can leverage our affordable, high-gain, easy-to-install electronically scanning reflector user terminals.
